Hello, my name is Tyler and I have been an automotive enthusiast for over 20 years. I'm into American made domestic muscle cars like Mustangs, Camaros, and the two tons of fun Mopar lineup. While I can respect the power that some of the import cars can make and what they can do they are not in my wheelhouse.
My Story
My journey into the car world all started at the ripe age of 19 years old when I joined the Air Force straight out of High School. I received my orders to Hill AFB in Layton, UT. I was fortunate enough to be in a workshop with some other car enthusiasts. I had always been into cars which I suspect started when I was a kid helping my dad in the garage work on the family sedan and our lawn tractor.
One of my co workers in Utah named Paul who was also a car nut had a 2000 Camaro SS. He knew I was into cars and that I liked Mustangs. Luckily for me there was a 1991 Mustang GT for sale on the for sale lot on Hill AFB. He went with me to look at it and I purchased that as my first car. It had a few mods done to it already like some 3.55 gears and it was once an automatic car that had been converted to a manual with a T-5 transmission. Other than these items it was pretty much stock.
I purchased a cold air kit as my first mod but did not install it for several weeks. One day Paul asked me how I liked the cold air kit and I told him I had not installed it yet. He couldn't believe that and promptly we gathered our coats at the end of the day and headed to our apartments to install the cold air kit on my Mustang that evening.
